"Before anyone says a thing, all people on the Internet are considered equal. It's a level of equality so pure it creates a tension that's hard to deal with."

How I Entertain Myself

Thursday, March 31, 2005
I have another externship interview today.... Wish me luck!

On another note... I found the most excellent gift for liberal (and conservative) friends! It's the FOX-Blocker! Essentially, you plug this device in between your cable line and your TV. It blocks you from viewing the FOX News channel! Imagine, no Sean Hannity, No Bill O'Reilly, No James Dobson! YaY!

In recent news, I caved in and got a T-mobile Sidekick. Yes, I join the ranks of Paris Hilton and Snoop Dogg. So I'm pretty much accessible from wherever I am via AIM or email (all my email is forwarded to the sidekick). It was free after rebates, and the guy even throws in free car chargers now. So I got one for myself and one for Melissa.

I also recently acquired an ancient projector and repaired it to the best of my ability. The result: A home movie theater.... but then the DVD player broke. Was I expecting things to go smoothly or something? ;)

I'm in Kentucky. Actually, I arrived Thursday night after a drive that was somehow longer than I remember. Yesterday I went to the Fayette Mall Deaf Social. It's hard to believe that this is the 8th anniversary of that event. Go Paula and Janis!

Melissa is enjoying herself, much to her own surprise. She had a great time last night at the Deaf social and restaurant after.

I'm going to have to remember to take some of that Kentucky home-brewed poison (Ale 8-1) home for Tracy.

Anyway, tonight I am having dinner at The Chop House with Melissa, my friend Martin, and my friend Amy.

I'm not really looking forward to traveling right now, as the gas is mighty pricey! Off I go!

Originally, the site was hosted on the Geocities and Angelfire networks and included personal information as well as some resources for the Deaf community. As the need for Deaf community information grew, the site splintered into a personal site (this one), and a Deaf community portal ( Although this site existed long before the coining of the term weblog or "blog", the backward-chronological sequence, dated entries, and narration style is typical of "blogs."

WHO IS FRANK ?That's a complex question. Really, who are any of us? Let's see, I was born in 1978 in Boston/Westwood, MA. Lived there until age 14 when I moved to Reston, VA where I attended high school at South Lakes. I then attended college at EKU in Kentucky. After returning to Hull, MA for a while, I moved to DC to enter the Clinical Psychology PhD program at Gallaudet University.
I also manage, have a mother, father, stepfather, 2 sisters, a niece, and a fiance. I suppose 'who i am' is a little different for everyone who knows me.
